Payment processing platform’s integrated multi-channel communications engine improves cardholder experience and engagement; new mobile features will further enhance the card’s money management benefits

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Oct. 8, 2013 – i2c, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based provider of cloud payment processing and emerging commerce solutions, today announced that The Approved Prepaid MasterCard®, a prepaid card created by personal finance expert Suze Orman, has launched on its processing platform. i2c will provide a variety of new features for The Approved Card, including an integrated communications engine that responds in real-time to cardholders’ behaviors with highly relevant and personalized messages that will help them better manage their finances.

Suze Orman said, “There were a number of factors that influenced our choice of prepaid processor for The Approved Card. Of the platforms we evaluated, i2c offered the most flexible and robust options for communicating with our customers. Strong mobile capabilities and support for global markets were other key factors that made i2c the perfect fit for The Approved Card.”

i2c and APPROVED LLC, in conjunction with the card’s issuing bank, The Bancorp Bank, will collaborate on further enhancements to the card, focusing on the mobile channel. The i2c platform provides a foundation for introducing new mobile features, including apps and money management tools, that can be customized around the unique needs of individual consumers.
