i2c CEO and Executives to Speak at Prepaid Expo USA

REDWOOD CITY, CALIF.—March 3, 2012—The leading global payment processing technology company, i2c, Inc., announced today that Amir Wain, CEO and founder, along with Jim Ackerson and Jon Round, both senior vice presidents at the company, are scheduled to speak at Prepaid Expo, the premier prepaid industry event. The event takes place from March 12 to 14 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Wain will speak on the panel, “We Want to Do Mobile…Now What?”, at 10:15 a.m. on March 14, moderated by Tim Sloane, vice president at Mercator Advisory Group. Among the panelists are Farhan Ahmad, the global head of prepaid and mobile at Discover Network and Michael Hursta, vice president of prepaid category manager at First Data.

Ackerson will be speaking on “Building Customer Loyalty in Times of Tight Margins” at 2 p.m. on March 13, followed by Round and Wain on the “Test Drive an Expert” sessions. Wain is the selected expert for “mobile payments and processing platforms”; Round heads up the “international expansion” expert session. “i2c has sponsored Prepaid Expo for a number of years and we’re delighted to have been invited to speak on the panels,” said Ackerson. “We’re launching a few programs at this event to kick off our new branding and heavy event schedule this year, and look forward to networking with industry greats as we have done each year.”
