How Does mRay Work? |

Program managers can set up mRay quickly and easily in MCP so that cardholders can subscribe to mRay services through various channels, including by SMS, by IVR, on the cardholder Web site, and by calling a live agent.

| They can configure their programs so that the system will send a cardholder a reminders or incentives based on transaction history—such as to reload if they have missed a load or to take advantage of mRay services to save money over ATM requests. Promoted through SMS or the cardholder Web site, additional incentives—such as discounts on reloads or electronic coupons that can be redeemed at the point of sale—are also effective tools to educate cardholders in the prepaid landscape and change their behavior to be as economical and efficient for them as possible. |

Using mRay |
Using mRay on a mobile phone is simple. Cardholders type in and send specific keywords or short codes by SMS to request information, such as a balance inquiry or a ministatement. The requested information is immediately sent back by SMS to the cardholder’s mobile phone.

Several features make it easy for cardholders to use mRay through their mobile telephones. First of all, cardholders can select their preferred language of communication with mRay. They can set up account alerts to be sent to their mobile telephone, such as when their balance drops below a certain level.

| To help cardholders with keywords and short codes, mRay uses aliases, supporting multiple keywords for a single command. For example, for a balance inquiry, a cardholder can send any one of the following to get the same result: BAL, BI, BLA, BALAN, or BALANCE. With aliases, mRay makes it easier for cardholders to remember commands and even helps by recognizing common mistakes in typing. |

| Cardholders can also receive promotional offers and electronic incentives—such as i-Coupons —through their mobile phones, once they opt in to receive them, and then accept or reject the offers, which are available for use immediately. |
