Service Delivery Model
Service Delivery Model

i2c Inc. provides a client controlled service delivery model.  The client is in complete control of the solution. This model offers clear advantages over other models where the client does not have this same level of control.

Some processors provide an ASP model where the processor controls all aspects of the platform.  In a processor controlled ASP environment, the customer is completely reliant on the processor. Changes to the platform are can be difficult and costly and potentially impede the time to market.

Licensed models are also available where the client licenses the software and is free to customize the application. This type of model involves a significant capital investment on the part of the client. Implementation and ongoing maintenance is generally costly and complex and requires extensive resources.

A hybrid approach can also be taken where the processor provides a base platform that can be configured by the client to a limited extent. This model has its own issues such as determining who has ownership when something breaks, slowness and inefficiencies due to use of code generators and generic applications, implementation of customizations into the standard release can be problematic. This model also requires the client to expend resources on software development rather than focusing on its core competency – marketing and building successful card programs.

i2c Inc. has taken a unique approach in offering a client controlled service delivery model. Card Program Managers have complete control over every aspect of the platform. This approach is superior to all of the other service delivery models in that it offers:
Low start-up implementation and ongoing costs
Unmatched flexibility enabling our clients to differentiate their programs from those of their competitors.
